2. Position Details

• Position Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Vacancies: 1
• Project Name: Hydrological and Hydrodynamic Modelling of Brahmaputra River / Mahananda River for the Assessment of Flood Affected Areas
• Sponsoring Agency: MSR Constructions, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh
• Consolidated Compensation: Rs 8000/-
• Accommodation: Eligible for on-campus hostel and mess facility (subject to availability).
• Duration of Project: 3 Years
• Tenure of Position: 1.5 years (renewable based on satisfactory performance)

3. Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: B.Tech in Geoinformatics OR M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering OR M.Tech in Geoinformatics OR M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS OR M.Sc in Geoinformatics OR M.Sc in Remote Sensing and GIS OR M.Tech Environmental Management.
• Desirable Experience: Experience in handling Satellite Images, Data Analysis, ARC GIS, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, HEC HMS, HEC RAS/ MIKE.
• Age Limit: 28 years (Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants).
