Engagement of Retired Government Servants as Consultants

The Labour Department, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi is engaging retired Government Servants as Consultants on a contract basis for vacant posts of Junior Assistant/ Senior Assistant/ Steno.

3. Position Details

• Position: Consultants (for Junior Assistant/ Senior Assistant/ Steno posts)
• Vacancies: 31
• Engagement Period: Six months, extendable up to 2 years or till regular appointment, or attaining the age of 65, whichever is earlier.

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Retired from the post of Sr. Assistant/ Assistant Section Officer and above.
• Working experience in Labour Department, Accounts, IT, Administration, Vigilance, RTI will be given preference.
• Must be of sound health.

5. Application & Other Details

• How to apply: Submit the prescribed Application Form (Annexure-1) along with self-attested documents to the office of the Secretary cum Commissioner (Labour), Govt. of NCT of Delhi, 5, Sham Nath Marg, Delhi -110054.
• Required Documents: Duly filled application form, 2 Passport Size Photographs, Last Pay Certificate, Aadhar card/Pan Card/Passport or any other Govt. Id-card, Educational Qualification Certificates, Copy of Retirement Order/PPO.
• Remuneration: Last pay minus basic pension plus applicable Dearness Allowance (DA). Pension and DA will continue to be drawn.
• Other Conditions: Engagement is on full-time basis. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. No allowances like HRA, telephone, transport, residential accommodation will be provided. The engagement can be terminated at any time by the Department.
