POWERGRID, a 'Maharatna' Public Sector Enterprise, is inviting applications for the positions of Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Civil/Survey), Junior Officer Trainee (HR/F&A), and Junior Technician Trainee (Survey). Recruitment is also being carried out for CTUIL (a subsidiary of POWERGRID).

3. Position Details & Vacancies

• Positions: Diploma Trainee (Electrical, Civil, Survey), Junior Officer Trainee (HR, F&A), Junior Technician Trainee (Survey)
• Total Vacancies: 630+8* (POWERGRID) + 30 (CTUIL)
• Pay Scale (During Training): Rs. 24000-108000/- (DTE/DTC/DTS/JOT) and Rs. 21000-72000/- (JTT).
• Pay Scale (After Training): Rs. 25000-117500/- (Jr. Engineer Gr-IV/ Jr. Officer Gr-IV) and Rs. 21500-74000/- (Jr. Technician).

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Civil/Survey): Full Time Regular Three Years Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 70% marks (Gen/OBC/EWS) and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD. Higher qualifications like B.Tech/BE are not allowed.
• Diploma Trainee (Survey): Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Survey Engineering or Civil Engineering (with survey as a subject) from recognized Institute with minimum 70% marks. Higher qualifications are not allowed.
• Junior Officer Trainee (HR): Three years full time Graduate Regular Degree – BBA/BBM/BBS or equivalent with not less than 60% marks (Gen/EWS/OBC-NCL). Post Graduate qualifications are not allowed.
• Junior Officer Trainee (F&A): Inter CA/ Inter CMA. Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent higher qualifications are not allowed.
• Junior Technician Trainee (Survey): Full-Time Regular Two Years ITI (Surveyor) from a recognized Institute. Higher qualifications like Diploma/BE/B.Tech are not allowed.

5. Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 27 years as on 11.05.2026 (Relaxable for reserved categories as per rules).

• Application Fee: Rs. 300/- (DTE/DTC/DTS/JOT) & Rs. 200/- (JTT). Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates.

7. Selection Process

• Selection will be based on a Written Test/Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a Computer Skill Test (CST) or Trade Test (wherever applicable) and Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
• Negative marking will be applicable for wrong answers in the CBT.
