Position Names: Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Junior Translator (JT), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT), Senior Translation Officer (STO).
Total Vacancies: 84 (Tentative)
2. Salary
- Junior Level Posts (Code A, B, C): Level-6 (₹35,400-1,12,400)
- Senior Level Posts (Code D): Level-7 (₹44,900-1,42,400)
3. Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Citizen of India or eligible subjects of Nepal/Bhutan etc.
Educational Qualification: Master's degree in Hindi with English as compulsory/elective subject at degree level; OR Master's degree in English with Hindi as compulsory/elective at degree level; OR Master's degree in any other subject with Hindi/English as medium or compulsory subject at degree level. AND Recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa OR relevant experience (2 years for Junior Level, 3 years for Senior Level).
4. Age Limit
18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2026. Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories.

Apply online at https://ssc.gov.in. Candidates need to complete One-Time Registration (OTR) first. Fill application, upload live photograph and scanned signature. Application fee is ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS (Male); nil for Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.
