Post Names: Forest Guard & Forester (Group-C, Non-Gazetted)
Total Vacancies: 271 (Forest Guard - 167, Forester - 104)
Pay Scale: Forest Guard: Level-6 (Rs. 5700-24000 + GP 2100), Forester: Level-7 (Rs. 5700-24000 + GP 2200)

4. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Forest Guard: Madhyamik (Class 10) passed or equivalent.
Forester: Higher Secondary (+2 Stage) passed or equivalent.

Age Limit: 18-40 years as on 01 May 2026. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates and Government employees).

Other Requirements: Must possess Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC). Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok is desirable.

5. Application & Selection Process

Application Mode: Online only.
Selection Process: Written Examination (85%) followed by Interview (15%).
Important Instructions: No TA/DA will be paid. Candidates must meet physical standards and qualify in the physical test.
