4. Pay Scale

• Post: Senior Resident (Group A)
• Salary: ₹67,700/- per month (Level-11, 7th CPC) + NPA & Allowances

5. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian Nationals.

Educational Qualification:

• Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD / MS / DNB) in the respective discipline from an NMC-recognised University or Institute.
• NMC / MCI / State Medical Council registration is mandatory before joining, if selected.
• Candidates should not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency (regular or ad-hoc/contract) in any Govt. medical institution.

6. Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 45 years as on 30 May 2026.
• Age relaxations applicable as per government rules for OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10-15 years).

8. Selection Process

• Selection is based on Walk-in Interview held at AIIMS Gorakhpur.
