5. Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: B.El.Ed/D.El.Ed or B.Ed (Nursery) along with Post Graduation/Graduation with minimum 50% marks and relevant teaching qualifications.
- PGT: Two years Integrated Post Graduate M.A./M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks OR Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, History, or Psychology.
- TGT: Four years Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Post-Graduation with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. OR Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks in Hindi, Science (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics), Sanskrit, or Computer Science.
- PRT: Graduate holding Bachelor's degree with at least minimum 50% marks in aggregate AND B.El.Ed/02- Year D.El.Ed OR B.P.Ed or D.P.Ed from a recognized institution. For Dance: Diploma in Dance and good communication skills in English. For Computer Science: BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/IT). For Art & Craft: Bachelor's degree with Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Art & Craft as a subject (minimum 50% marks).
- KGT: Diploma of minimum two-year duration in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.E.Ed)/or a B.Ed (Nursery) from any NCTE-recognised institution. NTT/ Montessori training from a recognized institution or ECCE qualification obtained from IGNOU / NIOS / any other NCTE-recognised institution.
6. Age Limit
- Fresh candidates: Below 40 years.
- Experienced candidates: 40-55 years with 5 years of experience in the last 10 years.
