5. Eligibility Criteria

• General Qualification: M.Sc. Nursing in the relevant specialty, knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level, and registration with Punjab Nurses Registration Council.
• Professor (Nursing): M.Sc. Nursing, 4 years teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing as Associate Professor or higher. Ph.D (N) will be given preference (with minimum total teaching experience of 12 years after M.Sc. Nursing).
• Associate Professor (Nursing): M.Sc. Nursing, 5 years teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing as Lecturer or higher. Ph.D (N) will be given preference (with minimum total teaching experience of 8 years after M.Sc. Nursing).
• Assistant Professor (Nursing): M.Sc. Nursing, 3 years teaching experience after M.Sc (N) as Tutor or higher. Ph.D (N) will be given preference.
• Tutor/Demonstrator Nursing: M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty.

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 50 years
• Age Relaxation: SC/BC: 5 years; Physically Handicapped: 10 years; Ex-servicemen: as per Punjab Govt. Rules.
