3. Position Details

• Position Name: Professor (Teaching Faculty – Medical Specialties)
• Total Vacancies: 118
• Pay Scale: Pay Level‑13 in Pay Matrix (Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900) plus Non‑Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances.

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years (relaxations applicable for reserved categories).
• Educational Qualification: Recognised medical qualification with Postgraduate degree (MD/MS or equivalent) for medical candidates. For non-medical candidates, Postgraduate degree and PhD in the concerned subject/allied discipline.
• Teaching Experience: Four years’ teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in a recognised medical college OR Three years’ teaching experience as Associate Professor with research publications.
• Nationality: Citizen of India (or eligible categories from Nepal, Bhutan, etc.).

5. Application Process

• Application Mode: Offline – via prescribed application form sent by Speed Post.
• Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for General/OBC/EWS/ESIC Male Candidates. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen. Payable via Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. 2” payable at Delhi.
