The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) is hiring for various contract-based engineering positions within the FACT Engineering and Design Organisation (FEDO) and other FACT/FEDO projects. This recruitment aims to prepare a panel for temporary contract engagements.

3. Position Details
Total Post Codes: 34
Positions Include: Draughtsman, Senior Draughtsman, Engineer Design, Deputy Manager, Senior Manager, Assistant General Manager (across various engineering disciplines like Chemical, Mechanical-Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Estimation).
Type of Engagement: Temporary Contract basis for a term of 1 year or till completion of project, renewable at Management's discretion.
4. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.05.2026):
- Draughtsman / Engineer / Deputy Manager (Post Codes 1-5, 7-20): Max 35 Years
- Senior Draughtsman / Senior Manager (Post Codes 6, 21-27): Max 45 Years
- Assistant General Manager (Post Codes 28-34): Max 50 Years
Educational Qualification & Experience: Varies significantly by Post Code. Candidates must hold a Diploma or Degree in the relevant engineering discipline and possess the specified years of post-qualification experience. One year of Apprenticeship training is also considered experience for Draughtsman posts upon producing a Certificate of Proficiency (COP).
5. Remuneration
Consolidated pay ranges from Rs. 25,750 to Rs. 67,240 per month, depending on the post and experience level. An annual increase of 3% is applicable on the consolidated pay, subject to contract renewal.
6. Application Process
A two-step application process is mandatory:
- Online Submission: Fill and submit the online form on the FACT website by 4:00 PM on 21.05.2026.
- Physical Submission: Send the manually filled, signed, and affixed photo Application Form along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents by Speed Post/Registered Post to reach FACT by 28.05.2026.
