4. Eligibility Criteria

• Project Scientist -III: Doctoral Degree in Forestry/ Botany with 7 years research experience.
• Research Associate -III: Doctoral Degree in GIS/ Geoinformatics or 3 years research/teaching experience after M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. in GIS/ Geoinformatics.
• Junior Project Fellow (JPF): First class M.Sc. in Forestry/Botany.
• Project Scientist -II: Ph.D. in Forestry (Forest Genetics /Tree Improvement / Forest Biotechnology) with minimum 3 years research experience.
• Project Associate: M.Sc. in Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding) OR M.Sc. in Forestry (Forest Genetics / Tree Improvement) OR M.Sc. in Botany / Biotechnology OR M.Sc. in Chemistry / Biochemistry.
• Project Assistant (PA): Bachelor's degree in Science (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry).

• Project Scientist-III: Max 45 years
• Project Scientist-II: Max 40 years
• Research Associate & Project Associate: Max 35 years
• Junior Project Fellow: Max 28 years
• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST, Women, PH, OBC.

• Project Scientist -III: Rs. 78000 + HRA
• Research Associate -III: Rs. 67000 + HRA
• Junior Project Fellow (JPF): Rs. 24000
• Project Scientist -II: Rs. 67000 (fixed)
• Project Associate: Rs. 25000 (fixed)
• Project Assistant (PA): Rs. 20000 (fixed)
