3. Position Details

• Position Name: Project Research Scientist-II
• Vacancies: 01 (One)
• Emoluments: Rs. 67,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Tenure: Initially 1 year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
• Project Title: “3-Dimensional Tuberculosis Co-Culture System Guided New Lead Generation”

4. Eligibility Criteria & Job Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or related areas with minimum 3 years of Post-Doctoral experience.
• Preference: Candidates having expertise in multi-step synthesis and characterization of organic compounds and probes, along with experience in using analytical instruments for purity estimation.
• Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as on the last date of application. (Age relaxation may be considered for candidates having higher qualification and/or experience with prior approval.)
• Job Requirement: Design and synthesize a library of analogues towards the development of new drug candidates for Tuberculosis.

Candidates must appear for a Walk-in Interview on 09/06/2026 at 10:00 AM. They must download the application form from the official IISER Pune website and fill it carefully. Bring all required original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies to the interview.
