3. Position Details
Position: Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor Grade-I & II, Professor of Practice, Associate Professor of Practice)
Salary: 7th CPC Academic Pay Levels (10 to 14A) / Consolidated Pay
4. Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Ph.D. degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record and relevant experience.
- Professor: Ph.D., first class/equivalent at preceding degree, min 10 years teaching/research/industry experience.
- Professor of Practice on Contract: Min 20 years relevant experience, min 5 years at a senior level.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D., first class/equivalent at preceding degree, min 6 years teaching/industry/research experience.
- Associate Professor of Practice on Contract: Min 15 years relevant experience in industry/government.
- Assistant Professor (Grade-I): Ph.D., first class/equivalent at preceding degree, min 3 years industrial/research/teaching experience.
- Assistant Professor (Grade-II): PhDs with less than 3 years' experience may apply for a contract position.
5. Age Limit
- Professor of Practice on Contract: Maximum age limit is 65 years.
- Associate Professor of Practice on Contract: Maximum age limit is 65 years.
