4. Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology.
• Experience:
• Chief Engineer: 15 years in Power Sector, with at least 5 years in Power Transmission (Selection Posts like Executive Engineer & above) and 1 year as Superintending Engineer, OR 3 years as Superintending Engineer.
• Superintending Engineer: 12 years in Power Sector, with at least 5 years in Power Transmission (as Executive Engineer & Additional Executive Engineer) OR 2 years as Executive Engineer.

5. Age Limit

• Open Category: Maximum 50 years
• Reserved Category: Maximum 55 years
• Departmental Candidates: Maximum 57 years

6. Salary

• Chief Engineer (Transmission): Rs. 140655-5980-272215/- (Gross Emoluments: Rs. 3,08,261/-)
