3. Position Details

• Position Name: Junior Translation Officer
• Number of Vacancies: 01 (Unreserved)
• Pay Scale: Pay Level 06 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400) + allowances

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or vice versa, OR Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi/English medium and relevant language subjects at the degree level.
• Additional Qualification: Recognized Diploma/Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English & vice versa.
• Experience: Two years of translation work experience from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices or PSUs.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years. (Age relaxation applicable as per rules)

5. Application Process

• Candidates must apply online through the official NIOT recruitment portal.
• Documents to Upload: Recent passport size photograph, Educational certificates (10th onwards + Master’s Degree), Translation Diploma/Certificate or Experience certificates, Age relaxation certificates (if applicable), NOC from present employer (if employed in Govt/PSU).
• Selection Process: Based on Written Examination and Skill Test. Both tests will be conducted at NIOT Chennai.
