4. Eligibility Criteria

Essential:

M.Sc. in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Electronics/ Atmospheric Sciences OR B.Tech. (Engineering Physics).
First Class (60%)/6.0 CGPA or equivalent in qualifying degree.
GATE/NET qualified for M.Sc. and with valid GATE/NET for B.Tech.
Candidates in the final semester are eligible to apply.

Desirable:

Previous research experience/knowledge of experiments in optics and spectroscopy, basic electronics, atmospheric trace gases and measurements.
Programming skills in MATLAB/ Python/LabVIEW.
