Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Regional Office Chandigarh is inviting applications for the empanelment/engagement of PGTs, TGTs (including Special Educator), Skill Teachers, and Female Staff Nurse on a contractual basis for the Academic Session 2026-27.

3. Position and Vacancies

• Positions: PGTs, TGTs (including Special Educator), Skill Teachers (e.g., Beauty & Wellness, Yoga, Health Care, Electronics & Hardware, Multi Skill Foundation Course, Tourism, Information Technology), Female Staff Nurse.
• Vacancies: Not fixed; depend on actual requirement. Panels will be prepared for each category.
• Engagement Type: Purely Contractual for Academic Session 2026-27 (until regular incumbent joins or March 31, 2027, whichever is earlier).

4. Eligibility Criteria

• PGTs: Master’s Degree in concerned subject with 50% marks + B.Ed.
• TGTs: Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in concerned subjects + B.Ed. + CTET (Paper-II) where applicable.
• Skill Teachers: Specific qualifications as per detailed guidelines (e.g., Beauty & Wellness, Yoga, etc.).
• Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing (Regular/Post Basic/Hons.) + Registration with State Nursing Council + 2.5 years experience in a 50+ bedded hospital.
• Note: Selected staff must reside in the Vidyalaya campus and perform residential duties.

5. Age Limit

• Fresh Candidates (All Posts): 50 Years (as on 01.07.2026)
• Retired NVS / Govt. School Teachers: 65 Years (as on 01.07.2026)

6. Remuneration

• PGTs: Rs. 35,750/- (Normal Station), Rs. 42,250/- (Hard/Very Hard Station)
• TGTs (including Special Educator): Rs. 34,125/- (Normal Station), Rs. 40,625/- (Hard/Very Hard Station)
• Female Staff Nurse: Rs. 34,125/- (Normal Station), Rs. 40,625/- (Hard/Very Hard Station)
• Skill Teachers: Rs. 34,125/- p.m.
