Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) is inviting applications from ex-executives of SAIL to engage 4 Advisors.

3. Position Details

Position: Advisor
Number of Vacancies: 4
Departments: Projects Deptt. (Iron Zone, Steel Zone, Mills Zone)
Indicative Expertise: Experience in project execution in respective zones (Blast Furnace, Sinter Plant, SMS, Auxiliary, New Bar Mill & Others). Daily planning, monitoring, supervision, coordination, safety protocols, progress reporting.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Employment Status: Ex-executives separated from SAIL in E-7 or below grades.
Ineligibility: Not eligible if separated due to Resignation, Voluntary Retirement, Premature Retirement (under rule 4.0 (3)), Medical Invalidation, or vigilance/disciplinary action.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 65 years on the date of offer.
Service Record: Should not have 'C' grading in the last 3 years of service.
Disciplinary Record: Good service record without ongoing disciplinary/vigilance proceedings.
Medical Fitness: Fit to perform duties, based on a medical certificate from SAIL/ Government Hospital.

5. Remuneration

E-5 Grade: Rs. 70,000/- per month
E-6 Grade: Rs. 80,000/- per month
E-7 Grade: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month

6. Application Process

Selection: Candidates will appear before a Selection Committee for an Interview after screening. Shortlisting may be done for a large number of applications. All correspondence will be through e-mail.

7. Other Terms

Tenure: Initial tenure is 6 months, extendable for another 6 months. Further extension up to one year may be considered.
Benefits: No PF/Gratuity or other benefits will be payable.
Termination: Contract can be terminated with 15 days' notice by either party. SAIL reserves the right to terminate without notice for unsatisfactory performance or misconduct.
