5. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: A postgraduate degree (second class) or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institution, along with a B.Ed. degree.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxations apply for Chhattisgarh SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) up to 5 years, women candidates up to 10 years, PwD candidates, and certain government servants (maximum age limit for entry into government service after relaxations should not exceed 45 years).
• Other Conditions: Must hold a Chhattisgarh local resident certificate. Candidates can apply for only one subject. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required for candidates already employed.

6. Application Fee

• General: Rs. 350
• Other Backward Class: Rs. 250
• SC / ST / Divyang (PwD): Rs. 200

The examination fee is refundable for local residents of Chhattisgarh who appear in the exam.

7. Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected based on a written recruitment examination (LSL26) conducted by CGSSB.
• No interview round is mentioned in the notification.
• Selected candidates will be appointed on probation for three years.
