• Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Vacancies: 20 total
• CCRAS (Ayurveda): 16 Fellowships
• CCRYN (Yoga & Naturopathy): 04 Fellowships
• Pay:
  • JRF: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA + annual contingency of Rs. 20,000/-
  • SRF (after extension): Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA + annual contingency of Rs. 20,000/-
• Tenure: JRF for 2 years, extendable as SRF for 2-3 years, for a total maximum of 5 years.
• Age Limit: 28 years as on the date of advertisement issue.

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Post Graduation in Biomedical Sciences (with emphasis on Life Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Physical Sciences / Social Sciences/ Biostatistics).
• Candidates must possess a valid NET certificate with an eligible validity period.
• Non-Ayush (Non-Medical) candidates must have qualified one of the following National Eligibility Tests:
  • Joint CSIR-UGC test for JRF and LS(NET)
  • DBT-JRF in Biotechnology, Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET)
  • ICAR's AICE-SRF(PGS)
  • ICMR JRF
• Candidates must be willing to undertake research on AYUSH-related projects for pursuing Ph.D. programmes in their chosen University/Institution.
